Zion National Park

Quiet Ascent The original pastel pictured here is titled “Quiet Ascent” and is a larger painting I did for the Zion National Park Plein Air Invitational Exhibit and Competition. I will be painting alongside 23 other artists selected from across the U.S., from November 3-10.

For me, it is an honor to be re-invited to a major art event like this, and more importantly, to have an entire week to paint on-site in this spectacular setting!

All of the artists will be performing live demos in their chosen mediums – my demo at the Zion Human Interest Museum on Monday afternoon, Nov. 3.
