Klickitat Gorge Legacy II

This was done in my studio from another "plein air" version at the klickitat River Gorge, where the Yakima Nation still fishes with dip nets in the swirling waters. A very strong wind was whipping-up the gorge when I did the original version of this painting, forcing me to hang-on to my easel the entire time I painted, which rather forced quick strokes and good decisions with color and value, to get the action of everything here..
