Pink Dress and Tulips

This was a fun painting. The day was cold but the colors beamed and the tourists were meandering through the tulips. Just as I needed a figure in my foreground, a child stopped in front of my easel and with permission from her parents, I drew her into my painting. What a view with the peak of Mt. Baker gleaming against the foreground, hot colors in the tulip field and the little girl waving with pink, red, and yellow tulip colors.
