Wilderness Grotto

One of my passions, besides painting, is exploring the wilderness areas. On one of my trips I caught a river running high with the wilderness foliage as the background. This was painted from a study where the blue tones in the water accentuate the water motion & interaction of warm bright light emerging from the shadows.
