Evening Light, Ironwood Park

Painted at Ironwood Park in the late afternoon winter light facing straight into the setting sun. Magical place to work with old palms and lots of desert flora, while observing human activities. The figures in the distance are  Vivianne, (who acquired the painting) her dog and a friend from L.A. who had just escaped the wild fires there. Every painting has a story and this one was very personal.
