About this work
Painted en plein air from the deck at Crow Valley Gallery early in the morning on a lazy summer day. Interesting orange/pink light cast by the rising sun, albeit through wild fire haze from the Oregon and California fires still raging several hundred miles away. Could have titled it "the temperature's rising" but will save that for something else. As my plein air painter friends would no doubt agree, we are witnessing and recording the effects of global warming over the past few years, like it or not.
