The Virgin River presents many moods, depending upon time of day. This late afternoon light in October made for perfect wave action against the warm rock faces above the river. I felt the presence of something in the canyon that day as I painted and thought about Cougars. Thank goodness, only wild turkeys as they strutted along the trail just behind me. Unframed $600
