Golden Hour at Shoal Bay

The winter sun in late afternoon lights up these cliffs above Spencer's Landing Marina with a brief golden glow that finds its way into the water reflections. I loved how the cooler, softer colors in distant islands gave this scene a nice sense of distance across the water, looking out from Shoal Bay, Lopez Island to Orcas and Obstruction Islands.
