Since time immemorial, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has called the Palm Springs area home. This creek in Indians Canyon, resonates in a spiritual way to any who might visit this oasis in the desert of southern California. I was amazed and surprised that only 100 miles from Los Angeles, there is still a place of sanctuary, with a palpable sound of quiet.
