Chadwick House

This little house by the sea, near Watmough Head  is @ 150 years old and has a long history of ownership since Samuel Chadwick built the place in the late 1880's. Thankfully it has been sold to the San Juan County Land Bank and will remain in the public domain forever. Gorgeous and breathtaking, this monastic setting has a zen-like presence around the headlands,. punctuated by this really cool old house. It is a place I've painted many times.
