Tending the Nets

Painted in Lumbarda, Croatia, September 2014 during my workshop there. I had picked a boat to demonstrate water reflections, when the owner climbed aboard. I thought "Well, there goes the boat" but instead, he started mending his fishing nets, so he became a "model" for the painting. Sold in February 2019
