Time Passages

This was done in my studio on Lopez Island, over several hundred hours using reference photos, drawings and sketches from this old farm building, on Best Road about a mile east of WA State hiway #20, with a ball point pen on 300# cold pressed watercolor paper. It is a very unique medium, that allows me to build subtle layers of values to give an almost transparent illusion of space and form.

This @ 140 year old farm building is overgrown with blakberry bushes and wild daisies in the summer.
