Secret Place

Painted at Fisherman Bay Peninsula Spit Preserve, near the pathway to the old homestead that was abandoned decades  ago. The 29 acre land area was ready to be sold as a 5 parcel subdivision by a real estate developer in the early 2000's but rescued by the San Juan County Land Bank in 2002,

It is one of the most beautiful public access parks in the San Juan Islands and a place I love to paint in all seasons
