Second Harvest

Painted en plein air at the field just below Center Church on July 10, 2022. It was a very a warm, sunny day - perfect to be working in the hay. New growth had already started due to unseasonably wet summer weather conditions. Who knows, maybe a second cutting of hay this year! Loved the color contrast of the dryer bales against verdant greens and small yellow flowers popping up in the field!
