These old island farmhouses tucked into themselves in groves of trees planted by the original homesteaders have great appeal to my sense of landscape that give comfort to the soul. What a place to spend an afternoon around hay bales in warm summer sun. It reminds me of my childhood in Boise, Idaho at my Grandma Clarks farm.
