Sadly, my Portland gallery “Gottlieb Gallery” has closed its doors forever on July 31st. I would like to personally thank Julie Gottlieb for a fabulous year there (and some very nice sales) and wish her the very best in her retirement from the gallery business. Certainly, Julie was a huge asset to the Portland area art world and the 26 plus artists who were so professionally and graciously represented by her the past 12 years. I think I can speak for all the artists in your gallery, Julie, and say that your enthusiasm, professional standards, and especially your love for fine art and the people who make it, will be missed by all. You have worked tirelessly at your craft and deserve nothing less than the best life has to offer.
